The Mission We Have
Having understood our current context, we can consider our mission as the church. We will turn to the teaching of Jesus and the apostles, and to the exilic experience of the Old Testament people of God, for help. The challenges we face are neither new or surprising, and we need a confident faith in the sovereignty and promises of God to overcome our disorientation and discouragement.
