Seminar: School of Biblical Studies – Life in Light of Eternity
Wisdom from the Book of Ecclesiastes for Today (Death)
How can the day of death possibly be better than the day of birth (Ecc. 7:2)? Ecclesiastes is a mediation on the fact that we are whispers in the wind, here one minute and gone the next.
Extra Reading – Is All Really Vanity
Extra Reading – Let Death Teach You How to Live
Extra Reading – You do not have much time
Seminar: Grateful for Past Battles
Jesus- fully God, fully Man
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, but have we seen His glory? We’re going to think through fifth-century leader Cyril of Alexandria’s passionate proclamation of a Saviour who is fully divine and fully human, and contemplate the glory and goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Seminar: Grateful for their Witness – Lessons for today from the lives of “Keswick Missionaries” of the past
Barclay Buxton – Japan, Genealogy and Generosity
Barclay Buxton came from a wealthy and influential Christian family. Their godly example was key in leading him to Christ, ministry, and mission in Japan. Visits to Keswick encouraged him throughout. Following his godly example his family also became involved in ministry and mission. How can we, like him, influence those we know and love to serve Christ?
Seminar: Pattern of Gratitude – Faith, Psychology and Formation in Christ
The power of bad – How to fight fear with faith
Anxiety is on the rise, especially among young people. The bible teaches that perfect love ‘casts out’ fear, and Jesus counselled ‘let not your hearts be troubled.’ But is this easier said than done? Given evidence that human beings possess an in-built sensitivity to negative threats – the ‘power of bad’ – how can we order our hearts away from fear and toward a positive life-giving faith?

If Prison Walls Could Speak
If Prison Walls Could Speak is a brand-new theatrical presentation written and produced by Artless Theatre Company in partnership with Release International.
If Prison Walls Could Speak contains a message that is both inspiring and challenging for both Christian and non-Christian audiences alike.
This one-man play is a hybrid multimedia performance featuring immersive video and sound.
Based on the book Imprisoned With Isis: Faith In The Face Of Evil, the play tells the true life story of Petr Jasek, who in 2015, was imprisoned for his work aiding the persecuted church in Sudan.
Charged as a spy and forced into horrifying prison conditions, If Prison Walls Could Speak is a powerful story of faith amid corruption and espionage, as Petr faces torturers, ISIS fighters and corrupt judges on his path to freedom.

Jesus’ ministry of deliverance (Matthew 8:28-34)
As Jesus travels into Gentile country he shows that he has the power to restore two-demon possessed men. Even here, in ‘unclean’ settings, Jesus has the power to save. Though it may not always be welcome.
