Seminar: Refresh your prayer life: Conquering common ruts and roadblocks

Sometimes our problem is not that we don’t want to pray, but that we don’t know how – or for any number of reasons, we feel we can’t. Whether your prayer life feels stuck in a rut, or has never really got out of the starting blocks, in this session we’ll think about how to grow the thriving, passionate prayer life we all want.

Seminar: Living Faithfully in our Culture: Faithful in our Fears

More than ever, the last year has uncovered a culture of fear and fretting. For the Christian we need to understand that the problem is not so much that we fear, but rather who and what we fear. How might relativising our fears lead to our flourishing?

We’ll then see the motivation for speaking for Christ in Romans 1 and work through what it means to have our identity in Christ and our thinking clear.

Evening Celebration: Celebrating the faithful saviour God

The opening two chapters of Luke’s gospel highlight the faithfulness of God as the Old Testament story – a story awaiting a conclusion for a people awaiting consolation – comes to its climax in Jesus. Jesus is revealed as the fulfilment of Jewish hopes for salvation, an expression of God’s mercy and faithfulness to his promises.

God has acted in fulfilment of his promises and now, in Luke 1:39-56, we see the model faith of Elizabeth and Mary, and the celebration of the salvation revolution that’s coming.

This session will be live streamed and available for catch up.
