Welcome
We’d love you to join us at Virtually Keswick Convention 2020 for what promises to be an encouraging time together virtually.
The theme is hope – chosen because at this time of great uncertainty, in the midst of a global pandemic, there is hope in Jesus Christ.
Even in the midst of struggle, hardship, suffering, pain, we can, by the power of the Holy Spirit, be filled to overflowing with joy and peace from the God of hope.
A Christian is not a prisoner of the present moment. Our mood, our well-being, our identity are not defined by our circumstances or our situation. Rather, every Christian is shaped by looking back and looking forward. We look back to Jesus’s life, death, resurrection, ascension and the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. But we don’t just look back. We also look forward – eagerly – to the return and reign of Christ in a new heavens and a new earth, and the day when death is swallowed up in victory.
And this future is not a matter of wish-fulfilment or pious idealism. Rather, it is secured – held-firm – by the sure and certain promises of God. So we are not confined by what seems reasonable based on the present and its possibilities. No. We are shaped – even set free – by what is possible to the God of promise, the God of hope.
We pray that, as you join in Virtually Keswick Convention, you will have a fresh joy, peace and hope as you trust in Christ and live for Him.
We look forward to meeting with you at Virtually Keswick Convention!
